Jemima has been in love with Billy since the day he stood up for her in the kindergarten playground when young Wade Sullivan teased her about her freckles. To Jemima Billy is perfect in every way, he works at the local Butchers Jemima buys dog bones there on a daily basis, despite not having a dog. In fact she may have invented a dog just to make her regular visits just a little more plausible. Imaginary Rusty has a lot of bones. Jemima sees this as creative license because a day that goes by without an opportunity to see Billy's handsome face is a day wasted in Jemima’s opinion. Jemima herself is quite a catch, her orange gingham skirt with brown embroidery design is always immaculately pressed just in case Billy should happen on by. Her sweet smile and colouring make her a cute seventies style pinny with a creative disposition, even if she is a little lovesick and a teeny bit obsessed. If you would like to adopt the perfectly harmless Jemima (and you don’t have a bunny) consider Jemima.
All of our aprons are rescues and as such come to you showing signs of a life well lived. This may include mysterious stains, worn and faded parts and small tears or rips which tell of a culinary or domestic mishap. Each apron has a story to tell and although sometimes this is evident in a frayed hem or a well washed stain they still have plenty of love to give. All aprons have been lovingly laundered, ironed with lavender ironing spray, sometimes mended and very much loved.
